Sara is a dedicated counseling intern nearing the completion of her master’s degree in counseling, driven by a profound commitment to helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges. Her areas of focus include anxiety, depression, and trauma, where she strives to offer a supportive and empathetic environment for clients to explore their emotions, experiences, and personal growth.

Throughout her academic journey, she has developed a strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and trauma-informed care. She believes in a client-centered approach, recognizing that each individual’s path to healing is unique. By tailoring her therapeutic methods to meet the specific needs of each client, she aims to foster a collaborative and empowering therapeutic relationship.

During her internship at Bright Path Theapy and Wellness Center, she is working under the supervision of Shally Vaid. Her approach is characterized by empathy, active listening, and a genuine desire to support clients in achieving their mental health goals.

In her work with clients experiencing anxiety, she focuses on helping them develop coping strategies, manage stress, and build resilience. For those dealing with depression, she provides a compassionate space to explore underlying issues, challenge negative thought patterns, and cultivate a sense of hope and purpose. When addressing trauma, she utilizes trauma-informed practices to ensure a safe and respectful therapeutic environment, guiding clients through their healing process at their own pace.

When Sara is not busy with school and work, she likes spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and cooking.
